Embracing Change: The Unofficial End of Summer
As summer comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on the power of change. This season, I made it a point to unwind—traveling, enjoying the beach, savoring good food, and soaking up the sun. Just as the weather shifts and leaves change color, we too can embrace these changes as an invigorating opportunity to reset and renew.
With the academic year approaching, we recognize the distinct challenges that come with this transition, especially for students in the Boston area. College life, with its academic pressures and social changes, offers both growth and stress. This period can be particularly difficult for students struggling with eating disorders (ED), as the statistics show a rising prevalence of these conditions on campuses. Our practice is uniquely positioned to support this population, with expertise in treating eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and related mental health challenges.
As we welcome the cooler weather and the changes it brings, let’s also embrace the opportunities for growth and transformation that come with it.

Perfectionism isn't a harmless quirk; it's a defense mechanism built on a foundation of insecurity. At its core lies a nagging feeling of inadequacy, a belief that we aren't good enough as we are. READ MORE.

Karen's Mental Health Bite
While I certainly had my share of the summer sun, I am looking forward to the cozy glow of fall and winter. As the weather cools down, there’s nothing quite like curling up with a warm beverage and a good book.
This month, our team is recommending a few of our favorite reads that can provide both comfort and insight during the transition to fall. We'd love to hear what some of your favorite books are!
